Europe's leading cancer centre, Gustave Roussy brings together care, research and teaching in Villejuif, near Paris. Its teams treat every type of cancer, at every age, with a stated ambition: to cure 80% of patients by 2040.
In the fight against breast cancer, the institute is on the front line: more than 10,000 patients supported every year, a diagnosis possible in a single day, and clinical trials that open access to the treatments of tomorrow. Detected early, this cancer is now cured in 87% of cases. That is what Pink October is all about.
